So I've had the project over at my complex's (Westchester Village North) main office since around June 6th.. and I have to say it has been a fun time. It's nice when you can do a really simple set up to get the feel on how other displays could go in terms of how is it going to work out.
It's in a nice quite spot where I can check on it just about every other day if I do desire. Often times I get to show it to the many people who live in this complex. Seems that we have a healthy amount of Catholics who live here and it shows in their reactions.
So far the biggest comments I'm getting is with the prayer cards I'm using as pictures along the walls. Seems that people are really enjoying seeing them inside hanging up like you would see art work of all kinds. I've been to a few parishes that do indeed have some kind of picture hanging on the walls. Mt. Zion Catholic Pastoral Center in Montrose, MI comes to mind right off the bat.
I'm still trying to get a few sites lined up for the summer. I'm waiting till after July because I know of a few places that are changing priests. I left a call for one place that I went to last season that I'm sure will have me again. But I will fill the readers in on that as those details come to light.
If I can find the places to take this project to, then I know it's going to be a very big hit with the people. But that my fellow readers, is in the hands of God. As for me, I've just been working on a few minor site tweaks. I do want to set up some kind of FAQ at some point. Because I do get some of the same questions over time. If you have a question that you would like to see answered, leave it here and I will make a post if I get enough questions. Till Then.
