trucking along..

I will try to have some more pictures up in the next few days. LCP09 is turning into one of my more faster builds. This one reminds me of the 07 project on so many levels.

Progress is not always measured in how much you've built up the walls, but rather in the various sections you have worked on. Such was the case today. I managed to build a decent looking Tabernacle from scratch. Most of the time I have used various ideas including modifying the fireplace I was using in the LCP05/LCP06 project. Because you can see some stuff from the main door way.. I wanted to make it look a heck of a lot better.

This little project alone took me at least four hours or so. With the majority of time sifting though the 30 gallon bin looking for parts about the size (and or smaller than) of an Accu-Chek test strip. But I am happy with the results. I've also completed the rest of that room's floor. Using mostly no stud flats. In the front area I also managed to get the first part of the covering done on that floor. The main worship area won't be done till I get rest of the walls up.

I still have to find some places to display this project. But I will cover that later on down the road. That's all from me right now. Till Then.
